Interchangeable blades for the HIO hole cutter, also known as 'The Hammer', because the blades feature a built-in hammer function that drives the blade into the substrate, making the work significantly easier and more ergonomic - while also preserving the turf. The significance of choosing between the different types of blades is that they are better suited for specific types of particle size distributions in the soil:

  • The inner blades are better suited for fine clay-rich soils.
  • The outer blades are better suited for coarser sandy soils.
