Foam Transition
The Tour Link panels are 5 cm high. Outdoors, the panels can advantageously be recessed into the ground so there is no height difference to compensate for. In these cases, a foam transition is not necessary.

Foam transitions are used when the green is installed on hard surfaces (e.g., indoors). For indoor installations or other hard surfaces, foam transitions must be purchased. In other words, foam transitions are used to level the height difference between the edges and the green (the panels) on hard surfaces.

Installation Procedure
The designer green is delivered like a puzzle, but with the advantage that all pieces are numbered and labeled, making it clear from the accompanying overview where they should be placed. As much as possible is pre-assembled prior to transport. The video on this page shows how the process of assembling the green takes place.

Drainage
Water from the green drains through the joints between the panels – there are, as a rule, no holes in the panels themselves. This provides sufficient drainage for the typical Danish climate. There is also a super-drain version of the panels. These are about half the thickness and feature a large number of tiny holes in the panels themselves, designed for much wetter climates than those normally found in Denmark 😊.
